Savannah and Michael met as choristers in Cantabile Choirs of Kingston. Their musical collaboration officially began in high school. Along with three other friends, Michael and Savannah started a pop cover band that played for talent shows and school coffee houses. Before the band members parted ways for university, they played a set for the Limestone Learning Foundations Crystal Ball Gala in 2012. Over the next three years, the musical relationship continued in the form of living room jam sessions, that took place over reading weeks and Christmas holidays.

In the summer of 2016, Michael and Savannah spent all their time rehearsing and performing with the local band Talk of the Street. Michael Broadhead is a Kingston raised multi-instrumentalist. His main instrument is upright bass and you can find him playing everywhere from 12Cat Arts Collective to the corner of Princess Street on a summer's day, to the corners of Kingston's finest restaurants. He will be joining Savannah at Humber College in the fall to continue his musical studies. Savannah is entering her third year at Humber College studying voice. She plays solo shows self-accompanying on guitar and piano, as well as performing with a variety of bands in Kingston and Toronto.

Savannah owes a great deal of her success to the wonderful community of Kingston musicians and she is especially thankful for the support of Musiikki Cafe, her home away from home.
